~ Welcome and thank you for visiting my WEB page ~

Adirondack Surveyor William E. Brannon on Crain, Note NGS ref mark embedded in the rock under my left elbow. This site was generated to provide information relative to the surveying field for both the casual surfer and for those in search of a Land Surveyor.

Surveying is one of the oldest professions and as such has experienced tremendous advances in technology over the ages and most spectacular have been the advances during this last generation.

We as a profession find ourselves specializing in one or more of the various aspects within the surveying field. It is my intent to explain what I actually do or can offer the public with my skills and experience.

The next page is about me. It is about my education and experiences and what I offer.
To supplement the text I have provided thumbnail photos that you can enlarge if you are so inclined.

Included is a FAQ page of questions that are typically raised when people or groups contact me for information about surveying.

On a separate page you can find suggested links that will direct you to other resources that contain useful and supplemental data and information.

Over time I expect to revise and update this site as I receive comments and suggestions from people that have visited the site and from additional upgrades in technology affecting our community of surveyors.

Thank you again,

William E. Brannon, LS
