~ Miscellaneous Information ~

The area that I generally work in for property line surveys, covers the southwestern corner of Essex County, the northern area of Warren, Washington and Hamilton Counties in New York. I will and have gone outside that area for special surveys if requested.

Historical county line monument set by Harris, it is on the Hardscrabble Road on the Town line Minerva/Chester, County Line Essex/Warren.Other survey work outside of the property line activity I have undertaken in the past and would consider for future work would be:

  • Landscape or Topographic Surveys,

  • Geodetic Network Enhancement,

  • Deformation Surveys,

  • Utility Line Clearance Surveys,

  • Landfill Closures,

  • Wood Land Roads and Trails Location,

  • Wetlands,

  • Profiles for Centerline of Ski Lift Lines,

  • Cemetery Surveys.

This site has the listing of all its members that provide survey services for New York.  Not all registered surveyors belong to the Association.  We who do belong, work to improve the standards of the profession.

Go here for a very special treat if you enjoy a real native talent that truly loves the Adirondacks.  Dan worked with me and has a real appreciation for what we do as surveyors.  He did walk the line and did a great job of it. Scroll down on his site to `bits and pieces’ that photo was taken in the spring of 2009 on Schroon Lake and while you are there, click on "Brannon’s survey crew"!
